February 26 – March 4, 2018
I went home to Baguio last weekend for some R&R and a special errand.
I left Manila on Friday evening and arrived in Baguio after 3.5 hours! I booked at JoyBus so that the route will be SCTEX and TPLEX without stopovers.
The very first thing I did as soon as I arrived was to check on my newly painted room. I love how it turned out. It’s waaaayyyy more relaxing than its multi-colored predecessor. While it was expensive to redo it, I’m glad I pushed for this project.
The color is a lighter version of whipple blue from Titan Paint’s brochure. The painters mixed 3 color options and my brother picked the best choice from there. Basta I loved how it turned out kasi ang aliwalas talaga and nakaka-relax yung color.
↑Fresh paint.
↑My black and white bathroom. Still need a divider. Ang mahal ng initial quote hmp.
I spent a few hours on Saturday morning putting things back in my room. I am so back in my room hahaha!
My nieces and one of my grandchildren went out in the afternoon for some Session Road in Bloom experience. But first, lunch at Jack’s Restaurant. My auntie met us too.
↑The kid in the middle turned 7 last March 5, hence, she’s now included in the cast of the regulars who always come with me to gallivant hahahaha!
↑Sundae for a hot day.
↑Photo ops and a quick break from all that walking.
In the evening, the little ones went home with my sister and brother-in-law while my aunt, teenager niece and I stayed behind for the night market hihihi!
↑Waiting for the night market to start at 9PM. Literal palang night ang simula nito hahahaha!
There were a lot of nice pieces but not for my size hahahaha. Saklap. But I was able to buy an outfit for my niece’s confirmation in April. Sya talaga nakinabang bilang ang payat nya hahahaha. Even my aunt was a little sad because wala rin syang mahanap na cardigan hahaha. Ako jogging pants na tig bente lang naman ang hanap ko. Merong isa wahahaha.
On Sunday, I invited some aunties and uncles for an early birthday lunch and for an announcement hihihi.
↑My sweet nephew brought a cake, which unfortunately I was not able to taste as we got busy after lunch. Well, I ate two of the cherries hehe.
The BF and I had dinner before my 9PM trip. We ate at Pizza Hut because it is near the terminal and there were still seats available. We were on the right side of the city, and near the window, therefore we had a glimpse of the fireworks that officially closed the Panagbenga 2018.
The announcement? Suffice to say that someone needs to take dieting seriously and that same someone also needs to start planning for a wedding 😀 😛 .

The end.
Have a great week ahead.
Mylene, nagulat naman ako at walang masabi kundi…congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Malapit na pala kita i-welcome sa first wives club, hehe. Good luck on the wedding preps! I will surely look forward to reading your wedding-related posts and greeting you again on your wedding day. 🙂
Thanks, Edel! Sana hindi ako masyadong mastress hahaha. Simple at budget-friendly lang ang gusto kong kasal. Mas gusto kong paghandaan ang married life hahaha.
