2018 Week 6: The BF’s Visit

February 5-11, 2018

For a change, it was the BF who came to Manila for a visit. I picked him up at the terminal last Monday at dawn. We spent the day in SM MOA for some window shopping, sunset watching, and meeting up with her nieces for dinner. We then proceeded to Shangri-la Mall so that I can introduce him to my high school BFF.

He had to go back home on Monday night though. It was a short visit but it was better than nothing at all.

The new director came on board last Wednesday, and so on Thursday, we went to the Glorietta site for several presentations. The bonus was that we had free dinner at TGIF hehe.

My teammates and I also went out to grab a drink at Whistlestop in BGC. On a Friday dawn. Because, why not? Hehehe. Nagsiksikan kaming pito sa kotse ni teammate. Nagkasya kami. Maluwag pa nga eh hahahaha.

On Saturday, I accompanied my fried for the first maintenance checkup of her car. We spent 5 hours at the shop. Not the best customer experience. Lots of patience needed. But we commend the new employee who has been so accommodating and apologetic for the shortcomings of her teammates.

We watched Fifty Shades Freed in the afternoon and had dinner at Tramway only because we can’t decide what to eat hehe. The simplest is to go buffet so that you’ll have options and just pick those that you’re craving for at the moment. And Tramway because it’s friendly on the pocket at Php 258.00 per pax.
