January 8-14, 2018
We are busy at work organizing our 2018 project portfolio. It’s time consuming but we’ll get to the final list in time for sure.
One of my nieces (cousin’s daughter) is applying as an OFW. She started her application 4th quarter of last year so she comes to the apartment every now and then if she needs a place to stay. She was here again this week and I learned that she’s on the final stages of her application. She’ll be flying to the Middle East anytime soon. And so we went out for dinner last Wednesday. Pa-despedida ko na sa kanya in case we won’t be seeing each other again after.
We ate at Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen at Ayala the 30th mall. We sampled two of their pasta and we loved it. The pasta were so flavorful.
↑Fried risotto balls for starters (risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella breaded then deep fried). Php 195.00. This is 6 pieces.
↑Penne Pesto Al Pollo (Zesty penne paired with grilled juicy chicken filet in basil and pine nuts pesto sauce). Php295.00
↑Vesuvio (mountain of rigatoni, stuffed with mozzarella, ricotta, peas, Italian meatballs and egg). Php 495.00
↑Good luck, baby girl. Go ahead, explore the world, and work for your dreams. You’ll always be in my prayers.
I also received more Christmas gifts hehehe.
↑From a thoughtful teammate (well partly because he took a long leave last December and I had to take care of some things on his behalf as the need arises. Suhol kumbaga hahahaha). Chocolates will always be love love love!
↑From our landlord. They also gave a bag last year and I have been using it since then especially if I need extra bags when going home. I’m sure this will be useful to me too.
The weekend was spent doing some household chores, reading (and finishing another book at that) and catching the final day of end of season sales hehe.
↑Another book done just over the weekend. Another love story hehe. At the rate I’m going, I need to retrieve my ebooks hehehe. But really, nothing beats the joy of turning each page in a book. I just bought this and another book this week. Let’s see if I’ll complete the other book next weekend hehe.
The end. Have a great week ahead!
P.s. Kailan ba ang next holiday?! Hahahaha!
Good luck sa niece mo! Natakam ako sa vesuvio, binasa ko description parang ang sarap, hahaha.
Thank you! Malapit na ang alis nya. Nagugulat ako sa bilis ng mga pangyayari hahaha!
Masarap yung vesuvio lalo na if cheese lover ka hihihi!
