January 1-7, 2018
Happy New Year!!!! I hope your first week of 2018 was great!
I did not have any plans on January 1 but few days before New Year, an uncle asked our plans, and so instant January 1 lunch invite to all the uncles and aunties on Mama’s side hehe. Nasanay na kasi silang nag-iinvite ang nanay ko dati kaya siguro until now, hinahanap pa rin nila.

↑Eye to eye with the newest member of our extended family. Such a cute baby! Tapos umiyak sya after a few minutes na hawak ko hahahahaha!
I was on leave on January 2 so I spent most of the time cleaning the house and dismantling the Christmas tree. Medyo hassle pala yung type ng tree na nabili ko hahaha. I did it before leaving for Manila kasi baka nakatayo pa yun sa next na uwi ko nyahahaha.
I traveled back to Manila in the early evening. Akala ko naman nagsibalikan na ang mga tao. Aba, blockbuster pa rin sa terminal! Buti na lang umabot naman ako next bus. At buti na lang mabilis naman ang byahe.
And it was back to work on January 3 but I was already waiting for the weekend to come nyahahahaha!
Weekend
I spent Saturday reading a romance novel at natapos ko maghapon hehe. For a change, I was able to resist tending to my Farmville.
↑Kilig kilig din pag may time. I tried looking for other books in several National Bookstore and Powerbooks branches to no avail. I’ll try the other branches.
I miss this kind of relaxation. I’ll try to read more books again, not just blogs. Actually, marami akong dapat basahin. Kaso mas kailangan ng mga yun ng mas matinding brain cells eh, kaso pag weekends, nakabakasyon din ang work brain cells ko hehehe.
I met up with a friend on Saturday evening for dinner. We ate at Gangnam Wings in SM Megmall. We ordered their chicken and beef bulgogi cheese fries. Ang sarappppp! Umulit kami ng order hihihi. No pictures sa sobrang gutom. It was my first proper meal that day eh hehehe.
I went with her after dinner to canvas for winter clothes as she and her officemates are off to Korea by the end of this month.
I also did some household chores. Some lang kasi di pa rin ako tapos.
I also went to the derma para sa kung anong anik-anik sa UA at fez.
And someone got too excited with all the year end sales at the mall. Too excited and was not able to resist hence she went home with some shopping bags hehehe. No regrets naman because I wanted all the items I got.
Ganito kasi yun. Sometime last year, I tried on some clothes in several shops. While I wanted those that I tried, I knew I won’t have the heart to buy them at regular prices kasi sobrang ang mamahal talaga hahaha!. Kahit magdildil ako ng asin, hindi ko pa rin maatim na bilhin! And so I just tried to check out if those items are still around during this sale. At nandon sila! As in lahat ng bet ko noon. Naloka ako sa tuwa! Hahahaha! Paano ka naman hindi mawiwindang eh halos lahat 50% off.
Yung isang nachambahan ko, jeans sa Gap. I am not sure of the exact amount pero I think between Php 2,500-3,000 siguro. Nabili ko sya ng Php 995.00 na lang tapos himalang may kasya pala sa akin don. Choosy pa ba ako? Syempre hindi na hahaha!
Basta, natutuwa na ako ngayon sa mga end of season sales hehehehe! I’ll do the same strategy again this year – fit potential buys and see if they are still available during sales. If yes and I was able to grab it, meant to be hehehehe.
Ok, enough about shopping. Susmio, first week of the year, gastos pinagkaabalahan ko hehehehe. But I have budget for that so I’m not worried. Pero kailangan nang tumigil kasi pag tinuloy ko pa, yun wala nang budget hehehehe.
