Work
One of the projects I’m working on requires a vendor. Last week, we were able to meet with all the vendors for their discovery sessions. It was a brain draining activity but it it also interesting to see how the different vendors showcase their solutions.
Like for one vendor, I was hesitant to shortlist them at first because aside from being expensive , I think their product won’t fit all of our requirements. However, after a second session with them, I changed my mind. Of all the solutions we saw, theirs might be the most robust and configurable, well at least based on how they answered our questions.
There was another vendor who I want to drop from the list early on but the boss of the boss said to still invite them. Ayun, I’m still not convinced, and even the stakeholders did not feel confident about them.
Because of these activities, meetings were held at the stakeholders’ offices, depending on where they’ll be reporting that day. And so on Thursday, we found ourselves traveling all the way to Alabang Town Center. My oh my, I love the place! The roads leading to the building were lined with trees!
But of course I don’t want to report there on a daily basis because for sure, commuting will be a challenge. We booked Uber (thanks, boss!) and our fare was Php 555.00, inclusive of toll fee. Imagine, more expensive than a 1-way fare to Baguio hahaha! So, no. Sana hindi kami ilipat doon.
I was also in Worldwide Corporate Center on Wednesday and Friday. I had dinner at Coffee Project. The place has pretty decors. I’m not just sure how I feel about the fake flowers hehehe.
I ordered sardines pasta and I think caramel vanilla frappuccino (I think). The pasta is good but I think it’s expensive at Php 180.00. The serving though is bigger than the usual single orders in other restaurants.
Daming ganap last week.
Weekend
Because I wanted to relax a bit, I checked with my friend if she wanted to watch a movie. She said yes so we met at Megamall in the evening. We watched Dear Other Self and Pirates of the Caribbean.
While I like Jodi, I think the story did not depict a true-blue travel blogger hahaha. Basta medyo ilang beses kaming napa-comment ng “Akala ko ba travel blogger sya?” Hehehe. But we were there for entertainment so we got it.
We watched the Pirates at the Director’s Club. Yes, those with reclining seats. And yes, ubusan ng allowance ito hahaha. But we enjoyed nonetheless so dildil asin na lang to compensate hahaha. I thought I was going to sleep because of the comfy chairs but the movie kept me awake until the end. At least di nasayang binayad ko hahaha.
The rest of the weekend was spent doing the usual household chores.
The end.
Have a great week ahead.
