May 1-7, 2017
I traveled back to Manila on May 1. But before that, super quick dinner muna with the BF sa tabi-tabi (aka Rufo’s) because it’s inΒ the terminal.
By Friday, my internet has been installed. Yehey! I have separate posts about my application here and here.
Then the rest of the week was work work work work work until weekend again hahaha!
Weekend
My friend and I went out on Saturday for several reasons.
We wanted to visit National Planetarium but failed to get in. Bakit? Kasi we arrived there almost 12 PM na ata. Mahaba na ang pila. Buti na lang, the staff gave us an estimated hour na potentially makakapasok kami. Potentially lang because that still depends on how long people will stay inside. 4 PM na raw kami. We don’t want to wait that long so we aborted the plan. Some other time maybe.
Our next stop was Cedarhills Garden Center in Mo. Ignacia, Quezion City. I read about it somewhere and got interested. They sell mostly herbs, some flowers, fertilizers, and tools for the garden. I was a little sad though because some of the plants were wilting because of the summer heat!
My friend remembered that Quezon City Memorial Circle also has shops that sell plants. So off we went. And we were happy with all the stuff we saw and wanted to buy! But we were a little frustrated because for some reason, both of us were not cash ready! Hehehe. But that’s fine. We can go back another day, and we’ll make sure we are ready!
Ay there’s Max’s and other restaurants in QC Circle. We had lunch at Max’s.
And I later on learned that there were food stalls near Circle Fun. We’ll check that out when we go back.
I was able to buy small Jade plants at 3 for Php 100.00. It’s Php 50.00 if you’ll only buy 1. I hope to be able to propagate those that I bought for my future orchidarium-type small yard in Baguio π π π . Yep, because of the visits to the Orchidarium last week, I got an idea on what I want to do with my small yard. I’ll start with collecting plants for now hehe.
We also bought loam soil. Ang yabang namin nung unang hindi naman ganon kabigat pero nung bitbit na namin, aba mabigat pala hahaha. But we were able to sting bring it home, thanks to Uber.
We went to SM Megamall after, because there was a wedding expo. Unfortunately, most stalls were already closing for the night! Grabe di man lang kami sinabihang pasara na sila. Sayang ang Ph 50.00 na entrance fee namin. Anyway, lesson learned.
I was so tired on Saturday so I just stayed home to rest and do laundry on Sunday.
The end.
Hope you all are having a great week.
You know I like Rufo’s tapa and their spaghetti! Super malasa saka mura pa. π
My officemate has a shop at QC Memorial Circle — Mila’s Garden and Flower Shop. Baka magawi kayo doon next time, look for Kuya Rene, mabait yun bibigyan ka discount sabihin mo lang name ko, hahaha.
Gusto ko rin yung tapa! Ma-try nga yung spaghetti next time.
Wow! Thanks sis for the info! Balak talaga namin bumalik ng friend ko doon kasi ang dami naming gustong bilhin na di namin nabili last time kasi pareho kaming walang dalang cash at wala kaming mahanap na ATM don hehehe.
