April 24-30, 2017
It’s May already, the 5th month of the year. It feels like 2017 just rolled in yesterday. Days are going by so fast. Which reminds me, I should start planning in the coming months. I don’t want to be stressed when 2018 comes.
It’s also the last day of the holiday. Long weekend over in a few hours and I would have to go back to the daily grind. But that’s ok. We need to adult too hehe.
The kids are here playing. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a TV and they have no other way of entertaining themselves other than play, or that they really just love playing. I believe it’s the later.I hear their made up stories, from role playing where there is a mommy and sisters to zombies to anything else under the sun.I also hear them speak in Filipino sometimes. It’s good that they practice Filipino because they were raised speaking in Ilocano.
I occasionally butt in to correct their grammar and/or pronunciation or teach them some manners. With their own noise, most of the time, I need to shout so that they can hear me hehehehe.
It’s fascinating how kids are. They have so much imagination. They quarrel but after a few minutes, they are playing again. Their innocence is so refreshing.
Anyway, going back to the recap.
Work is work is work. I don’t have anything else to say hahaha.
As for the long weekend, I went out daily for several reasons. I went out with a friend on Friday to chill around Baguio. I went out with my tita and cousin on Saturday too.
On Sunday, I stayed home except for the time I went to mass. I saw my childhood friend in church. They offered me a ride to town after the mass. I went to Good Taste for some take out. Why take out? My brother went somewhere so there’s no one to cook and I’ll still be home until at least lunch time today. I need food to survive hahahahaha. Plus, tamad akong kumilos dito.
Ok, so all I really did during the long weekend was eat, eat, eat! I will make up for it when I go back to Manila. Crossing my fingers on that.
I was contemplating on going back to Manila last night, but just thinking about the hot summer made me change my mind right away hehehehe.
Have a productive week ahead.
Iba talaga pag mga bata, ang daling pasayahin at parang ang bilis bumalik sa dating gawi. I miss Baguio already! Now that it’s easier to travel to Baguio, just 4-5 hours via SCTEX and TPLEX, I think mapapadalas kami mamasyal dun. 🙂
Sobrang bilis na nga. Yung shortest trip na natry ko so far was 3 hours, 45 minutes via Joy Bus, yung walang stop over. Winner! Hehehe. Traffic na lang kalaban mo.
Reading your post makes me miss Baguio. I spent a lot of summers there.
You’re right about kids. They don’t know how to keep grudges – unlike adults lol.
I pray you’ll be able to visit Baguio again in the future :).
