Happy Easter!
I was still on SL on Monday so I just went to work on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I left Manila for Baguio on Wednesday at 2 PM. Late na ako sa 30 minutes policy ni Joy Bus, pero late din kasi ang bus nila kaya siguro pinagbigyan ako hahaha. Pero pag siguro hindi late ang bus nila, naku siguro naiwan na ako!
A childhood friend was going back to Canada and he was having a despidida party that night. I was still undecided during the whole trip. But when I learned that my other friend was dropping by, we arranged to meet at 8 PM and go together to my other friend’s house. I reached Baguio at 7 PM and went to SM to buy some stuff because I forgot my Baguio cabinet key in Manila hehehehe.
We reached their place past 9 PM because it was hard to get a taxi grrr. It was good to see my friend looking healthy (he had health issues last year) and it was good to see him again! While we only chatted for a few minutes, it was good to reconnect with him and the rest of the people from my childhood who were also there.
Thursday was meant for doing nothing. My nieces came and played at home all day so my home was filled with happy shrieks (and sometimes cries hehehe). I just let them be. Ginawa lang namang swimming pool ang sala ko hahahaha.
On Friday, my niece wanted to bake so we went to the grocery for the ingridients. It was just a very quick trip given it was Good Friday.
My brother and I also discussed all the furnitures I want made this year. We took measurements of the areas so that we know the custom sizes of the furniture. I thought it will be just a simple task but it took us 3 hours to finish discussing and getting measurements for 6 furniture (seat, table, cabinets). I can’t wait for these pieces to be completed para naman mas magmukhang bahay ang kingdom ko hehehehe.
On Saturday, we hiked Mt. Cabuyao. I have a separate post here.
From Mt. Cabuyao, we went to a cousin’s house for her despidida party. Yes, another despidida hehehe.
My trip back to Manila was April 17 12:30 AM so I decided to just attend the afternoon Easter mass. I did some cleaning in the morning. The kiddos were in the house again. I just told them to stay in one of the rooms so as not to interrupt what I was doing.
There were a lot of shouting. I also sometimes shout when I correct their Filipino terms. I need to, otherwise they won’t hear me because of their combined loud voices hahaha.
After mass, the BF and I went to Good Taste for dinner. In the 4 days that I was at home, this was the only time we met. The Holy Week is one of his busiest so I stay out of his way as long as I can hihihi.

Dinner at Good Taste. This was the only picture we had that night because we were discussing serious matters aka future plans. And no, we did not plan on wearing blue at the same time. Lastly, we did not eat everything. There were a lot of leftovers for take out. 😛 😛 😛
And that wraps up my Holy Week break.
