Work
Our boss treated the whole team to a slice of Mango Bravo from Conti’s. The cake is for the 3 of us who celebrated our birthdays last March. Thanks boss and employer.
And let me just commend Conti’s Robinson’s Magnolia pala. When we ordered, we requested 3 of the cake slices to have candles but I think the staff forgot so no cakes with candles were served. When we were paying the bill, our boss provided feedback to the manager (looks like she’s the manager). The manager took the names of the celebrants and then a few minutes later, they brought out another cake with candle for the 3 of us. Winner customer service. And so, I had another slice of cake which served as my breakfast the next day. Ang healthy hehehehe.

We were invited by HP Philippines to their event on Friday. It was held at Fairmont Hotel. I was not too excited about it because payday Friday is a deadly combination to go out early and into one of the busiest business districts in Metro Manila. But it is work and maybe there is something new to learn.
They talked about their new offering called Device as a Service (DaaS). The gist is, you go into contract with them and they provide all device requirements, take care of support and maintenance, until asset disposal by the time you need to refresh your devices. All assets they provide will not be part of your assets list though. Something new indeed but it was another team from our company who would have benefited from it.
The food was great though so that compensates the need to wake up early and be stuck in traffic on the way back to the office. Nadaan na naman ako sa food hehehehe.

Now the shopping part. S&R was on sale last week. A friend’s site/office was beside S&R Shaw. She showed me what they bought. I asked her to buy me spam tocino. She asked if I want to split with her a pack of Dial soap and Treseme conditioner. Yes, of course. Dali kong kausap.
They went back the next day. Pepero was on sale. E di buy me too, please ang peg ko.
Another friend is vacationing in Canada. They were at an outlet store. She saw an Adidas Superstar and she remembered that I was looking for one when we were in Japan last year. She messaged me in FB. I don’t know but for some reason, I woke up at around 5:30 AM, an hour after she messaged. Susko talaga. Ewan ko kung bakit nagising ako bigla eh normally, tulog na tulog ako at this hour.
She was willing to buy one for me. Enabler ang friend ko hahaha. I told her I was now lemming for a Stan Smith with gold, blue, or red print. If it’s not in those colors, that’s fine, no need to buy. But it looks like they were going around outlet stores because a few minutes later, she was able to buy one in gold. Hihihi! The shoe is now in her balikbayan box on its way to Manila. But I will only see it after 8 weeks hehehe.
Weekend
I was not really feeling well so except for doing the laundry, I was sleeping, playing games or watching TV most of the time while drinking water with ginger.
I planned on checking out the S&R sale myself but aside from not feeling well, thinking of all the shopping done on my behalf made me abort the plan. Nakakahiya na talaga sa wallet ko.
I cooked one of the span tocino pala. Parang too sweet? Or maybe it’s just me. What I don’t like naman about the other variety is it’s too salty for my taste even if I get the one with less sodium.
Lastly, I need to take dieting seriously now. As in SERIOUSLY. Paano ba ito?! Hay Mylene, push!!!! Bahala ka. Kung hindi, ikaw rin mahihirapn o mamomroblema.
