Today is March 20. Happy birthday in heaven, Daddy! Missing you and Mama always.

I received another news from my niece last week but that will be for another post.

Work

While it was not a seamless implementation because there were some things that we missed, we were able to fix what needs to be fixed. And it has been so quiet since after we sent out that advise that the system is already accessible. While I’d like to rejoice, I’m also panicking a little because I know that people will again do what they are supposed to do close to the deadline and that’s where questions will come in. And that deadline is this Thursday, on my birthday, where I so wanted to take a leave. The least I could do is to request their directors to upload and verify as early as they can.

On the other side of things, at least I’m now on a new project.

Weekend

A friend and I watched Beauty and the Beast! What a fantastic movie. Emma Watson is all grown-up and I must say, she’s a brilliant actress. And I didn’t know she can sing! I’m a little sad for the beast/prince because he has a little exposure as the good-looking prince hehehehe.

Since the birthday is fast approaching, we went to Dohtonbori Greenhills after for an early dinner. I saw their version of 4 cheese pizza in my FB feed last October 2016 and I wanted to try it since then and I finally had that chance last weekend.

We tried 4 dishes: Beef gyudon, Umigo okonomiyaki, Quatro Formaggi, and Mixed monjayaki. Everything was so flavorful and yummy!

Since I booked for a table reservation via the Booky mobile app around 3 hours prior, and since our bill reached Php 1,000.00, we were entitled to a Php 100 discount. A discount is still a discount!  😉

We went back to Megamall to look for some sweets. We were looking for ice cream when we saw Magnum and Magnum it is. I can’t remember the last time I ate this but it’s been more than a year for sure. And I’m good not to taste it again for years after last Sunday hehehe.

I checked out some office blouses and I was able to buy 2 out of the many that I tried. The blouses were also at 10% off so again, a discount is still a discount hehe. I need to replace some of the blouses I own because of obvious wear and tear…

I went home after to catch the Sunday shows until the wee hours of the morning. Bad habit on a Sunday given that Monday is a workday. Also, I saw some items in O Shopping that I wanted – the ilo multi cooker set and the Pasabahce dinnerware. Not good for my wallet. Today, I tried searching for reviews of the products but I cannot find one so my interest is slowly diminishing hahaha. Good! But I still want the multi cooker set hehehehe.

This is Umigo, the Five Seafood Okonomiyaki. I forgot to take a picture right after it was cooked. Cooking time took about 15 minutes.

This is Quatro Formaggi, their version of 4-cheese pizza with pancake as the base. This is oh so yummy!

Mixed monja. According to the server, this is usually used as a side dish when drinking and best taken if toasted. It’s a mix of vegetables and some seafood and we ate it straight from the pan.
