Weekend
Saturday was spent mostly at home and a few hours at the mall.I was looking for nude shoes but nothing caught my attention. However, I tried checking out the items on sale at Kickers and was able to score one that I like that’s discounted for 50% so I just paid Php 1,420.00. I know Kickers is expensive so I don’t normally check out this brand. But it’s good to know that they can give discounts as high as 50% because there is another pair that I tried but it’s more expensive so I did not buy it. Maybe some other time if I get lucky.

New shoes which I hope will last me for years. I have high expectations for this brand given that their normal prices are expensive.
On Sunday, a friend and I went to Cavite to attend our other friend’s son’s baptism. It was held the Holy Family Church at Lancaster New City. If I remember correctly, this was the location of the reality show “I Do” some years back.
Anyway, we got lost because we boarded the wrong bus at the South terminal plus the conductor forgot that the driver should drop us off somewhere along the way so that we can ride the correct bus. We had to go back via a mini bus (the conductor called it baby bus hehe). We eventually found the place.
However, because of the several transfers and the expensive tricycle fare goint to the chapel, we realized that it would have been better if we just took Uber.
The reception was at Kinamot Restaurant that’s also in Lancaster. We feasted on at least 5 Pinoy dishes. Busog lusog to the max. I liked the ambiance because it’s a picnic by the nipa huts.
We left right after lunch. This time, we tried Uber because all buses were full. Luckily, there was one available. While it’s more expensive, at least we were back in Manila by 3 PM.
We got off at MRT Taft and proceeded right away to Baclaran to buy some goodies.
We went home after for that much needed rest before another work week.
Firsts
First time to ride the famous mini bus in Cavite.
First time in Lancaster New City.
Discoveries
Healthy You Trail Mix
My search for a trail mix go years back when I was still so into hiking.
I cannot find any until recently at S&R. However, I did not like the one I bought.
Last week, I chanced upon Healthy You Trail Mix so I bought one to try.
I like this better because the nuts are unsalted hence, you won’t easily go thirsty. Plus I think it’s cheap at Php 180.75 for 450g. That’s less than Php 400.00 for close to 1 kl which is still cheaper than when you create your own trail mix.
It’s exclusively packed for Robinson’s Supermarket but I hope it will also become available on other supermarkets.
The end.
Have a great week ahead, or at least what’s left of this week hehe.
Mura na yung trail mix, ha, for 450g!
Exclusively packed for Robinsons daw sya :). Ahhh airplane hehehe. Aba kung mabilis nga ang takbo nya, feeling lumilipad ka talaga siguro hahaha. Yung friend ko tawang-tawa sa baby bus na tawag ng kondoktor eh hehehe.
