2016 Week 49 Recap: Parties…Oopps, Just Party

I forgot to mention in my previous post that we had our team building at Mt. Purro Nature Reserve in Antipolo last December 3-4. The place was big but I wasn’t able to check it out since we arrived at night. Syempre pa, naabutan kami ng traffic sa daan kasi kami ang last batch na umalis sa office. Pero sabi ng teammates ko, maganda naman daw yung place. We were 21 in the team and they were able to accommodate us. We left at around 2AM kasi si teammate-driver may susunduin sa airport kaya sumabay na rin kami sa kanya pabali, or at least yung mga sakay lang nya hehe.

We also had our Rewards and Recognition last December 7 at 7 Flavors. Masarap yung food nila. My first buffet for the month hehehe. We had the usual games, awards to recognize top performers (na dito ako hirap yearly kasi bukod sa deliberation, sa akin naka-toka ang printing of certificates and ordering of plaques…), chika or kalokohan awards hehe, and of course exchange gifts. The boss of the boss was able to join us so that’s good.

Last December 11 was also the company’s year end celebration but I did not attend. Bakit nga ba? Hehe. Hagardo kasi ako last weekend. But next year will be our 20th year so I’ll attend…maybe  😛 .

Weekend

I saw Factory Overruns on FB and I was interested to check it out on Saturday so hinatak ko ang friend ko para samahan ako. Medyo interested kami to buy samples pero pareho kaming walang dalang pera so bumalik kami don ng Sunday. Ayun, kaya hagardo.

Balik Saturday. We also watched the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra at Shangri-la Mall. Meron silang ganitong ganap every Saturday at 7PM which started last November 19 with Jose Mari Chan!  The Company rin last December 3! Sayang!!! Late na namin nakita yung poster. Pero this December 17, manonood uli kami. ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra naman with Maestro Gerard Salonga.

We went to Megamall after the show for dinner at Soi. Masarap food dito! At healthy healthy type pa hehe.

I looked for a rice cooker after dinner. May nagustuhan ako pero walang stock na available. Bigo. At ewan ko rin kung bakit bumigay ang rice cooker ko. 5 years old pa lang yun eh.

I also looked for a router. Sira na rin router ko. Kailangan sabay talaga with rice cooker?! I tried to reset the one I have pero ayaw so I think sira na talaga. While there were candidates, di ako maka-decide because I haven’t really researched yet kung anong maganda these days. May nirecommend ang teammate ko, however, order sa OLX eh ayaw ko na ng waiting time.

So bigo ako sa 2 items na kailangan kong bilhin. Pero eto ka. Habang pauwi ako sa apartment, nadaanan ko sa street namin ang dati kong teammate! Don pala nakatira ang fiance. Chikahan galore ng more than 2 hours…sa kalsada hahaha. Happy for him. The fiance sounds and looks and feels mabait and nice. Tapos namention ko sa kanyang naghahanap ako ng router. At at at! May gusto syang idispose na router kasi nagpalit sila ng internet service provider and may kasama nang router yung kanilang new subscription. So, syempre sa akin na pinamana ang dati nyang router! Whew, savings! While may mapagbubunutan naman ako ng pambili ng bago, hindi kasi sya para sa router talaga eh so ang hirap bunutin hehehehehe. Thanks again, my friend! I was able to successfully set it up after 10 years kasama nang pakikibaka with Smart Bro customer support!

Last Sunday pala when we went back to Factory Overruns, kumain din kami sa Wan Chai after. Meron silang promo every Sunday (not sure if my specific time range lang) ng Php 47 for some dimsums. Marami-rami naman yung mapagpipilian in fairness. Dimsum fiesta!

Uwi na after lunch kasi pumunta pa ako ng Pioneer Center to look for…rice cooker uli. Ayun, successful this time, buti na lang. Binili ko na bago pa mawala uli hehehe.

Ang gulo ko magkwento, kasing gulo ng utak ko dahil palapit na Christmas break hehehe.
