Day 27: A problem you have or have had in the past

The most recent are the system issues we’ve had since August. It had impact on almost 15,000 employees’ payroll so the fix needed to be deployed immediately. This means long work hours, most of the time double shift, and once or twice even working for 24 hours straight. We also needed to work on the weekends, thereby cancelling all weekend plans (at least for me).

My stress level was at its highest. I am glad that is over now. There are still a lot of improvements we can do but it has been better since we first redeployed last September 12 and the users are getting used to the tool so there are lesser inquiries now.
