October 10-16, 2016

Yes, all those this week hehehe.

But living quarters muna. My MERALCO bill was lower than usual! I only used 98 KWH from September 13 –  October 12. Edel said in one of my previous posts that it looks like bills are lower if they are below 100 KWH. And it looks like it. I’m cracking my brain what’s different during that period from the rest of the months. We had a lot of overtime hours during that period and so I do extended works at home. Well, the only thing I can think of is that, while I spent more time at home, I wasn’t able to watch that much TV. And so, it must be the TV…we’ll see this month hehe. I want to know because I want a lower bill!!!!

Anyway, moving on.

Movie muna since nag-iisa. A friend and I watched Third Party on Sunday. I did not expect it to be that type of movie hehehe. But I got entertained, and again, another movie with a realistic ending.

Eating naman.

We had free Starbucks on Friday to celebrate the team’s successful implementation last August. Yes, super delayed since the team is just lazy to go out. Besides, we were so busy in the days following that major implementation. But it finally happened on Friday. Yey! Thanks, employer hehehe.

On Sunday, I asked a friend to try out Krazy Garlic. I heard about this restaurant years ago but I don’t frequent Greenbelt plus it was always full of diners. Luckily when we checked it out, there was no long waiting line so in we went.

Our orders. Both yummy! But it’s a little on the expensive side, I think. But then again, our tummies were happy hehehe.

40 Kloves Chicken. Php 595 but masarap at malasa naman hanggang loob.

krazygarlik2

El Callos Capitan. Equally yummy! I forgot the price! But it’s less than Php 500.

I had a major booboo though. Citibank has a current promo when you dine here pala!!! Spend a minimun of Php2,500 and maximum of Php5,000 and you get 40% off! If we added some more orders to reach the minimum spend, we would have take out viands sana! But I only saw the poster after eating, and I was only able to see Citi’s text about the promo, only after eating hehe. Next time, I’ll be more conscious of these things! Sayang kasi talaga.

Shopping

I did all sorts of shopping this week hihihi.

I bought a 6-set travel luggage organizer from a former officemate. Reasons? 1) I was looking for one for the longest time but I find everything expensive back then so I delayed my purchase thinking that these will be less expensive after a while hehehe and 2) I want to support friends with small businesses. I buy from them when their products fit my need.

6-set travel luggage organizer priced at Php300. Quality-wise, this is better than what I’ve seen at Daiso for the same price. My friend also said that this is much better than what she saw in Landmark.

We went to MOA on Sunday to pick up the 2017 BDJ planners. I was a little disappointed because I ordered a customized one (with name printed on it, and had to pay Php100 for this). However, when we got to the claiming area, my and my friend’s names weren’t printed. They had an email on October 13 asking for confirmation because they changed the position of the name to be printed. I gave my confirmation before their set deadline but our names were still not printed. While they were able to do it during the event, the printing wasn’t polished because of course it was done in a rush. It doesn’t look like it’s worth Php 100. My niece’s planner’s name was better. The design she chose did not require name position change so hers was printed in advance. Anyway, I just really wanted to try the one with names so I availed of it. But maybe I’ll not do it for the 2018 planner.

I’m not sure if it’s noticeable here but my niece’s name was printed nicely than mine. But still happy to finally have them hehe.

Anyway, I’m still happy I now have my 2017 planner hehehe. I still love the kikay and colorful design. It’s encouraging to write on it.

And since we were in MOA, we did some window shopping in some of the shops. I saw a red Kipling bag and I want one! But still too expensive hehehehe. And I just bought my Longchamp bag a few months ago, so no, not yet.

I asked a friend to look for cheese boki if she happens to be at Cash & Carry. I learned about this from Ms. Diane’s blog maybe a year ago and I have been looking for it since then to no avail. I even always check out all 7-11 stores that I pass by hehehe. So, last weekend, my friend was able to buy not cheese boki but cheese ramen. Kerin na rin. Still with cheese. I have yet to try it.

Php165.90 at Cash & Carry Makati.

And the highlight of my shopping escapade, which really really really made me giddy and happy and almost jumping while showing it to my teammates hehehehe. I think I already mentioned it here a few times that I want the Adidas Superstar. I was finally able to buy an Adidas Superstar!!! OMG moment talaga when I chanced upon it last Friday at Robinson’s Magnolia. I know it was meant to be since I also checked out Adidas Gateway few hours prior hehehe. Also, for some reason, I was itching to visit that branch so I excused myself after our Starbucks session and asked to be left behind for a while. And the sales staff informed me that it was their last pair in my size for 2016. New stocks will be delivered in 2017 already. Haaayyy, so happy and my teammates were happy for me too because come to think of it, I’m also looking for this pair for a year now!  🙂  😀  😆

Hi! I’m Adidas superstar. My new owner was supposed to wear me today but she decided against it because it was raining and she didn’t want me to get dirty right away 😛 😀 😆

I went to mass at Greenbelt. Today’s gospel was about praying persistently. As per the priest’s explanation, we need to pray persistently because this is the food for our soul. When we do this, we won’t become weak when we encounter trials. Instead, we will still be strong to face these trials because our prayers during the times we don’t have these trials made us stronger. Thank you, Father for that explanation. And thank you, dear God, for your endless blessings.

Have great week ahead. Cheers!
